
GCS Region 4 Hickory Tournament
March 24, 2010 - March 27, 2010
Austin, Texas
The tournament will begin with a get-acquainted-scramble on Wednesday, March 24 at Lost Creek Country Club in Austin. Thursday, March 25 is the U.S. vs. Canada Swift Cup match to be held at Onion Creek Club.
The 2 day Region 4 tournament will be held Friday and Saturday March 26 and 27 at Onion Creek. In addition to golf, a cocktail party at the home of Joe and Susan Black, and a dinner at the home of Max and Joyce Hill are planned. Following play Saturday afternoon, there will be a trade show and banquet.
Staybridge Suites has rooms available for the week at $79. Their number is 512.389.9767.
Plans underway also include the opportunity to play Tuesday, Mar 23 at Brackenridge Park in nearby San Antonio, home to the Texas Open from 1922 to 1959. Brackenridge Park, designed by A.W. Tillinghast, just completed a restoration project that included moving the Texas Golf Hall of Fame to the site.
